如果你一直在等待平板机版的Firefox浏览器，现在就可以下载Android平板可用的第一个测试版Firefox。Mozilla现在已经将Android版浏览器纳入到日常更新计划中，最新的版本专门针对高分辨率Android设备进行重新构建。
平板机版Firefox提供有与其他智能手机版本相同的浏览器基础功能，包括Mozilla的渲染引擎，Firefox同步将支持用户在桌面版浏览器与移动设备之间同步书签和其他数据，也支持安装使用最佳组件。
在Android 3.0+平板机中，Firefox测试版将会充分利用蜂窝系统的特点，在横向显示时，屏幕左侧会一直显示标签切换栏，竖屏时屏幕上方会出现一个图标用于查看标签页列表。
经测试，目前的Firefox Nightly版本同样支持Android 2.0版以上系统，但是不再支持ARMv6处理器，同时也不支持Flash，不过网页渲染加载速度表现的很不错。
